Secondary Education

Secondary schools play a critical role in preparing technically trained workers, and they are critically important to the Center’s mission.  Partnering activities at middle and secondary schools vary by grade level, program, school, and district.  The Center also works closely with the Maryland State Department of Education (www.msde.state.md.us) to ensure that curricula, courses, skill standards, and proficiency levels are adequate to meet the needs of higher education and manufacturing employers.
