Careers in manufacturing and engineering offer many opportunities, all requiring solid preparation. TIME Center community college partners offer courses and programs that lead to certificates, associate, and higher level degrees. These programs prepare students for employment or further education or both.
Advanced Technological Education Television is an award winning on-line video series with up to the minute information connecting students with education and employment opportunities. To see the latest video go to www.atetv.org
Many of the TIME Center courses and programs meet industry skill standards developed by such groups as the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, (SME), National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS), and the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) and lead to specific industry certification. Professional engineers often mentor students as part of their educational programs, and their companies may also offer internships.
